Giants DT Damon "Snacks" Harrison is never one to back down from defending his play on the field. In fact, his favorite way to do so is on Twitter.
Another perfect example came on Saturday when Harrison retweeted a Pro Football Focus graphic that showed he had the best run-stop percentage (13.4 percent) out of any defensive tackle in the league. But an Eagles fan decided to go back at Harrison in the comments section, saying "he isn't good at all."
Well, Snacks wasn't having any of that.
If you follow Snacks, you'd know this isn't the first time he has gone back at those respecting his game. For example, the NFL Network Top 100, which is voted on by NFL players, didn't include Harrison for this season. He was No. 96 on the list back in 2016.
Harrison tweeted out a warning in this instance to opposing players that didn't vote for him, saying he will be "whipping their ass" in 2018.
Looking at the stats, there is a valid reason Harrison consistently defends himself on social media. He led the NFL with 40 run stops last season, while finishing tied fifth with 46 solo tackles against the run, according to Pro Football Focus.
Even more impressive is the fact that Snacks has totaled 138 run stops over the past three seasons. His closest competitor had 94 over that span.
So, as long as the numbers don't lie, Harrison will continue to put haters in their place, especially Eagles fans.
