The highly-anticipated Madden 19 rankings have dropped, and Giants fans may get ticked off to see where their veteran QB Eli Manning ranks among his peers.
Madden has Manning as an overall 76, which ranks him 36th among qualifying quarterbacks. Also, ranked with an overall 76 is Colts QB Jacoby Brissett, who completed his first full NFL season as a starter after filling in for Andrew Luck in 2017.
Last season, Manning was ranked an 80 when the Madden 18 rankings were released. As they update them throughout the season based on performance, he ended up with an overall 77 by Week 17.
Entering this season at age 37, Manning finished his 2017 campaign with 3,468 yards on a 61.6 completion percentage, and totaled 19 touchdowns to 13 interceptions over 15 games. For comparison, Brissett finished with 3,098 yards on a 58.8 completion percentage while tallying 13 touchdowns and seven interceptions.
Above Manning on the list are quarterbacks including Jets' Josh McCown (78) and Teddy Bridgewater (78), Cardinals' Josh Rosen (78), Bengals' Andy Dalton (77) and Chiefs' Patrick Mahomes II (77).
