Some things to watch for in the Giants-Falcons game on Sunday at MetLife Stadium (1 p.m.):
Eli Manning vs Falcons' defense: The Giants scored 75 points the past two games and Manning is completing 66.9 percent of his passes. The Falcons are 31st in pass defense, allowing 8.6 yards per pass play. They also only have three sacks. The Falcons will also be without SS William Moore (shoulder), who probably would be covering the Giants' emerging star TE, Larry Donnell. The Giants may also get a boost from the NFL debut of their top draft pick, WR Odell Beckham Jr.
Matt Ryan vs the Giants' defense: Ryan is off to an All-Pro season, second only to the Colts' Andrew Luck in passing yardage. He has two of the league's top WRs in Julio Jones and Roddy White. His third WR, Harry Douglas, is out with a foot injury. Ryan has been sacked just three times, but that was before he lost three more starting offensive linemen this week. The Giants pass rush isn't what it used to be but the Falcons may struggle keeping the Giants off Ryan Sunday. He is a markedly better passer at home than on the road, where he's won just one time in his last 10 tries.
Giants' coverage teams vs PR/KR Devin Hester: No matter what Giants ST coordinator Tom Quinn has done to shore up the kick and punt coverage teams, they are still questionable. They have already allowed a punt return for a TD this season and now face the unenviable task of chasing Hester, perhaps the best returner in the history of the game. The plan may be to play keep-away by punting out of bounds, but with Steve Weatherford (ankle) not 100 percent that could end badly, too. PK Josh Brown has to bury the ball on kickoffs or dribble it to limit Hester's opportunities to take it to the house.
Falcons' defense vs RB Rashad Jennings: Atlanta's run defense is a sieve, surrendering 153 yards per game. The Giants' rushing attack is dangerous, led by Jennings, the NFL's third-leading rusher.
Second round showdown...Giants' second round pick, LG Weston Richburg, could find himself going head-to-head with the Falcons' second rounder - DL Ra'Shede Hageman.
