Despite the Giants' season being long over, the team being ravaged with injuries and the entire Eli Manning debacle being so close in the rearview mirror, New York refused to quit and fought hard against the league-leading Eagles for a 34-29loss.
Manning enjoyed his best game of recent memory, throwing for 434 yards on 37-57 attempts with three touchdowns and an interception. Manning's potential game-winning drive ended in a fourth-and-goal incompletion with less than a minute left.
Sterling Shepard was Manning's favorite target, catching 11 passes for 139 yards and a touchdown. Evan Engram caught 8 passes for 87 yards.
Prior to leaving the game with a concussion at the end of the third quarter, Tavarres King had two catches for 70 yards and two touchdowns, doubling his career touchdown total. The Giants also lost Landon Collins during the game after he tweaked the ankle injury that nearly kept him out of the game.
