There were only four players on the Giants' initial injury report ahead of their Week 8 matchup against the Redskins. However, a big part of their defense in LB Alec Ogletree was featured.
Ogletree is dealing with a hamstring injury after Monday night's loss to the Falcons, and he was sidelined during Wednesday's practice session in East Rutherford. Wide receiver Jawill Davis also didn't practice as he stays in concussion protocol
The 27-year-old has been an anchor on the second tier this season, totaling 48 combined tackles with two quarterback hits and three tackles for loss. He has also collected an interception as well.
The limited practice participants were G Patrick Omameh (knee) and WR Russell Shepard (neck). Omameh was out against the Falcons, with the Giants shifting G John Greco to right guard while Spencer Pulley got his first start of the season at center. It is unknown if that is what the Giants want to go with the same offensive line against Washington.
As for the Redskins, there were loads of players that didn't practice, including WR Jamison Crowder (ankle) and RB Adrian Peterson (ankle/shoulder).
Wide receiver Paul Richardson Jr. (shoulder/knee) was a limited participant along with G Brandon Scherff (knee), LB Ryan Kerrigan (chest), and RB Chris Thompson (rib/knee) among others.
