WR Sterling Shepard (back), DT Damon Harrison (knee), LB Connor Barwin (knee), and TE Evan Engram (knee) all missed practice for the Giants on Wednesday.
Shepard had a cyst on his back removed but is expected to be ready to play on Sunday against the Panthers.
"(Sterling Shepard) had a little thing taken off the base of his back that is just going to take him a day or so to get back from, otherwise he'll be fine," head coach Pat Shurmur said.
CB Eli Apple (groin), CB Antonio Hamilton (groin), WR Cody Latimer (knee), and LB Olivier Vernon (ankle) were all limited at practice.
Vernon, who has not played yet this season, is improving and nearing a return -- as is Apple, who has missed the last two games.
Harrison missed part of the second half of Week 3's win over the Texans, but played during the team's Week 4 loss to the Saints.
