The Giants hosted Clemson defensive tackle Dexter Lawrence on a pre-draft visit Tuesday, according to Mike Garafolo of NFL Network.
Defensive coordinator James Bettcher was in attendance at Clemson's pro day to watch Lawrence, a 6-foot-2, 342-pound nose tackle.
The Giants could target Lawrence with either the No. 6 or No. 17 pick in the first round as they look to bolster their defense.
They already have Dalvin Tomlinson and B.J. Hill on their defensive line, but adding Lawrence could fill the void left from trading Damon "Snacks" Harrison last season.
The Giants also hosted Ohio State defensive end Nick Bosa on Tuesday, but it would be highly unlikely he falls to Big Blue.
The Giants have also met with linebacker Devin White, as well as quarterbacks Dwayne Haskins, Daniel Jones and Drew Lock among their top-30 pre-draft visits.
