With the Giants' currently owning a top-five pick in the NFL Draft with a 3-7 record, many have kept close tabs on Oregon QB Justin Herbert, who is expected to be a top pick if he comes out of school.
However, a big scare occurred on Friday night in the "Civil War" game against Oregon State.
Herbert was sacked hard late in the first quarter, and came up favoring his right shoulder. He was taken out of the game, but didn't have to wear a sling.
Here's when it happened...
Oregon head coach Mario Cristobal said the team does not known what kind of injury he sustained, or how severe it is. They will have to run tests when he returns to Eugene.
Herbert was 9-for-12 for 102 yards and a touchdown before leaving the game with a 21-3 lead. This season, he has thrown for 2,883 yards and 27 touchdowns with eight interceptions as well.
