When the Giants' first injury report surfaced on Wednesday, it wasn't a good sight to see starting RT Mike Remmers in the "Did Not Participate" section.
But that didn't last too long.
Remmers was seen at practice on Thursday, and the Giants updated their list to say that he was a limited participant. He was initially listed as battling a back ailment and illness.
The back was the most concerning note, given the back surgery he recovered from this offseason. However, head coach Pat Shurmur said it was more the illness that came out. He's also "not concerned" about Remmers' availability in Week 1 against the Cowboys, per NJ.com's Ryan Dunleavy.
While that's a good sign, Darius Slayton (hamstring) and Garrett Dickerson (quad) continued to stay off the practice field as they continue to battle their injuries.
