At 6-4, 265 lbs, Robinson gives Eli Manning another tall option in the red zone, to go with newly acquired Martellus Bennett and Rueben Randle. He ran a 4.58 forty, so he has solid speed for a big man. He was only a one year starter at Cincy, and is considered very raw. He has long arms, and although he is unpolished, could become a strong blocker under coach Mike Pope.
He is a developmental project that was expected to go much later in the draft. His stock was rising due to his strong measurables though, and Jerry Reese obviously saw a lot he liked. It might not be a popular pick, but neither was Jacquian Williams last year.
