Giants WR Sterling Shepard and his wife, model Chanel Iman, welcomed their baby girl -- Cali Clay Shepard -- into the world on August 10.
Both Shepard and Iman posted pictures at the hospital on Sunday to make the announcement.
Shepard touched on the arrival of his baby after practice on Monday.
"She's doing good," he said. "We just got to take her home yesterday, she's good, getting used to her room and everything, getting used to the surroundings. Everything has been good so far."
The 25-year-old joked that his daughter is a "very considerate baby" as she was born after the Giants' preseason opener on Thursday. He was initially not going to travel to Detroit with the team, but it was perfect timing.
"I was thinking it was going to happen on that game day but we woke up the next morning, she (Iman) stood up, her water brok, and we went right to the hospital. She did great, I was there every step of the way. It was pretty graphic, but it was good. She did a great job. Our moms were there, our families were there, everything went perfect."
Shepard joins rookie RB Saquon Barkley as another Giant to have a child right before the start of the season. Barkley and his girlfriend, Anna Congdon, saw Jada Clare Barkley born on April 24 -- a few days before the 21-year-old running back was drafted by New York.
