As the Giants search for Eli Manning's successor, they're doing their due diligence on the quarterbacks in the 2019 NFL Draft class, and Pat Shurmur is going to get an up-close look at a possible first-round pick.

Duke quarterback Daniel Jones will visit the Giants on Thursday for a private workout, a source told SNY's Ralph Vacchiano. Giants offensive coordinator Mike Shula was at Duke's pro day on Tuesday while Shurmur was at the NFL owners meetings, so Shurmur will use Thursday as a chance to get his own look at Jones.

If the Giants were to look for a quarterback with their second first-round pick at No. 17 overall, Jones could be in the mix there along with Missouri's Drew Lock and West Virginia's Will Grier.

Shurmur recently attended West Virginia's pro day to get a look at Grier, while Shula went to Missouri's pro day to evaluate Lock.
