The Giants are continuing their push for free-agent defensive linemen.
Former Bills and Texas defensive end Mario Williams will visit with the team Monday, according to the NFL Network's Ian Rapoport (March 6). They also have interest in Falcons free agent defensive lineman Adrian Clayborn, Jordan Raanan of N.J. com reported (March 6).
The Giants spoke with former Panthers DE Charles Johnson Sunday.
Clayborn, 28, a former first-round pick, was a defensive end with Tampa Bay for four injury-plagued seasons before Atlanta signed him last season. The Falcons used him inside, where he had three sacks and 15 quarterback hits and played all 15 games.
Long one of the NFL's top pass-rushers, Williams had only five sacks last year for the Bills, who released him Tuesday. Williams visited with the Dolphins Sunday.
The Cowboys are also reported to be interested in Clayborn and Williams.
