Hard to tell if there are any gems here, but the most interesting of the bunch, of course, is Boston College LB Mark Herzlich, who will undoubtedly be one of the more colorful human interest stories in Giants camp this year.
The others are: FB Henry Hynoski (Pittsburgh), LB Spencer Paysinger (Oregon), DE Craig Marshall (South Florida), S Jerrard Tarrant (Georgia Tech), DT Ibrahim Abdulai (Pine Bluff), DE Justin Trattou (Florida), DT Martin Parker (Richmond), S David Sims (Iowa) and OT Jarriel King (South Carolina).
As Rich Resch wrote previously, Hynoski will be thrust right into the fray now that FB Madison Hedgecock has been released.
Florida DE Justin Trattou is a local product, hailing from Ramsay, NJ. Most scouts had him sized-up as on OLB at the pro level.
Sims is the second Iowa safety they Giants are bringing to camp this summer: Tyler Sash was drafted by the club in the sixth round in April's NFL Draft.
Paysinger was an All Pac-10 honorable mention playing next to Casey Matthews at Oregon. King is said to have loads of upside. Tarrant could be a valuable special teamer as well as a backup safety.
