Here's what we know. The Metrodome has been ruled out for tomorrow night's Giants-Vikings game.
An alternative site is being sought. The University of Minnesota has a 50,000 seat field, but it is outdoors and is basically in the same storm zone as the Metrodome. It is covered with a foot and a half of snow and will take some time to get into game-shape.
The league is suggesting the game be played in either Detroit or Indianapolis. These are indoor facilities that would not favor the Giants - plus they were not hit hard by the storm.
May we add that the Giants did not pack their cold-weather gear, either, so an outdoor game is out of the question....
