"I'm going to be looking at the scoreboard," defensive tackle Barry Cofield said. "If it's up there I'm going to check it out."
"You know what? I'll try not to. But honestly, I'll probably take a peek up there," said guard Chris Snee. "I'm sure that'll be emphasized: Just worry about our game. But this week will be a little bit different."
Head coach Tom Coughlin has talked to his players about where their focus should be.
"We'll coach our guys to just play the game," Coughlin said. "Play this game, the game that we're in, pay no attention to anything else. All you can do is take care of your own business, give yourself every opportunity, and good things can happen to you.
"We need help now," Coughlin said. "We pray that we get that help. The first thing we have to do is go to Washington and win."
