Giants WR Odell Beckham Jr. is known to be one of the most interesting personalities off the football field as well as on it. From his fashionable wardrobe to his star-studded friend group, Beckham is a clear standout in the NFL.
But, he decided to stand out even more with his latest fashion statement.
Beckham decided to implant a diamond cross into his teeth (yes, you're reading that correctly). TMZ filmed the surgery, which cost $5,000, that Dr. Lee Gause performed.
"I got my ceramist to make a porcelain veneer that looked just like his tooth," Gause explained. "And then, on that porcelain veneer, I got a diamond cross made from Odell's jeweler that he actually made on a 3D rendering that I printed and sent to his shop."
The procedure made the cross permanent in his teeth, and if Beckham wishes to remove it in the future, he will have to go back to Gause who said it would take him "under five minutes" to take out.
Don't expect Beckham to be on the field without a mouthguard this season.
