ESPN NFC East blogger Dan Graziano recently come out with his dream/nightmare case scenario for the 2012 Giants. Here are some of the more interesting tidbits:
"In the Giants' dream scenario, Hakeem Nicks recovers from his broken foot in time to start the season, second-round pick Rueben Randle wins the No. 3 wide receiver spot and someone -- perhaps first-rounder David Wilson -- steps forward to be the running back who can spell Ahmad Bradshaw when he needs a rest."
"Terrell Thomas comes back healthy and continues along the career path that, this time last year, had him on track to become one of the best cornerbacks in the league."
"Keith Rivers solidifies the linebacker corps, and Jason Pierre-Paul and Victor Cruz build on their breakout seasons as the Giants get back into the playoffs and make a real run at defending their title."
Graziano believes the Giants can get to 12 wins in their "Dream" scenario, the same number they compiled in the season following their last SuperBowl championship.
Big Blue has all the talent, experience and momentum to reach that mark, but football is a fickle game, and things usually never work out the way one would expect. This is a topic that should be and will be debated over the next few months.
Which leads me to this: What do you all see as the Giants "dream" scenario? What is the magic number for wins in 2012?
