Sitting last in the NFC East, the 3-7 Giants currently own the No. 5 pick in the 2019 NFL Draft if the season were to end today.

While the potential QB class of 2019 isn't as star-studded as the 2018 class that featured Baker Mayfield, Sam Darnold, Josh Allen, and Josh Rosen, there are a bunch of potential first-round talents the Giants can dream on if they choose to pick Eli Manning's replacement.

Here's how they performed this weekend...

Justin Herbert, Oregon

It was a scary moment if you were a Giants fan watching this one.

Herbert had to leave the game early due to a shoulder injury after getting sacked late in the first quarter during the "Civil War" game against Oregon State. His status is currently unknown as head coach Mario Cristobal said the team will have to evaulate him when they return to Eugene.

Herbert was only 9-for-12 for 102 yards and a touchdown, while running backs Travis Dye and CJ Verdell went off on the ground. Dye had 33 carries for 199 yards and two touchdowns, and Verdell had 187 yards and four touchdowns in the win.

Here's to hoping Herbert's injury isn't too severe.

Drew Lock, Missouri

Lock's draft stock continues to rise after another great game against Arkansas. He went 16-for-22 through the air for 221 yards and two touchdowns. Lock may not be on pace to top his junior season of 3,964 yards and 44 touchdowns, but he is enjoying a fine season with 2,904 yards, 23 touchdowns to only eight interceptions, and a 144.3 passing efficiency rate over 11 games.

Will Grier, West Virginia

It was Grier's biggest game this season, facing fellow Heisman candidate Kyler Murray and the Oklahoma Sooners on his home turf. And just as everyone expected, this was an absolute shootout between these two quarterbacks.

With Giants GM Dave Gettleman in attendance among other NFL GMs, Grier had a monster game going 32-for-49 for 539 yards and four touchdowns. West Virginia was allowing him to show off his arm on virtually every other play, and he was hitting his open receivers in stride. However, he did have two fumbles that both resulted in touchdowns, which turned out to be the reason for a 59-56 loss.
