Former Giants head coach Tom Coughlin will be hired as the Executive VP of Football Operations for the Jaguars, reports Adam Schefter of ESPN.
Interim head coach Doug Marrone will become their full-time head coach, according to Schefter.
Coughlin interviewed with the Jaguars late last month for their head coaching position.
Coughlin, who was also reportedly drawing interest from the Bills for their vacant head coaching job, stepped down from the Giants last January.
Coughlin, 70, coached the Jaguars from 1995 to 2002 before joining New York in 2004. With the Giants, Coughlin led the team to two Super Bowl titles and five playoff appearances, stepping down after last season.
Jacksonville fired Gus Bradley after a 2-12 start to the 2016 season. Marrone was named interim head coach prior to Week 16.
