Giants CB Janoris Jenkins believes he can play better than he did last year, and he knows it doesn't hurt that he's been practicing against a talented group of playmakers on the offensive side.
The 28-year-old veteran, entering his second season with the Giants, said he uses his time in practice to work on fundamentals and his technique against a Giants offense featuring newcomers like Brandon Marshall and Evan Engram to go along with Odell Beckham and Sterling Shepard.
"You get to compete with different types of guys. Quick guys, big guys, fast guys, strong guys," he said. "I feel like with the receiving corp that we have, we get to work on all of that."
When asked if he believes he could go an entire season without allowing a touchdown, Jenkins said "yeah, I think so." Jenkins
Jenkins had three interceptions, a sack, 49 tackles, and a career-high 18 passes defended last season in his first year with the Giants. Before joining the Giants, Jenkins played four seasons with the Rams.
