The Giants' injury woes may have gotten worse, as it's been revealed that Janoris Jenkins left Thursday's loss against the Redskins in a walking boot with an ankle injury, according to Art Stapleton of USA Today.
It's been a roller coaster ride over the last few weeks for Jenkins. He had a crucial interception in the Giants' win against the Chiefs last week after having his effort questioned against the 49ers, as well as being suspended for the game against the Rams.
After the 49ers game, Jenkins was defiant when questioned.
"They questioned one game? Question the other 36 games," Jenkins said. "Sometimes you won't have the best game. Everybody knows that. One out of 36 games? I don't care what they say.
"People don't know football so they don't understand," Jenkins added. "They just go off of what they see."
The Giants will have to wait and see the extent of the injury, and see if he can go next Sunday against the Raiders.
