Jason Pierre-Paul has settled the lawsuit he filed against ESPN for posting his medical records, according to the NY Post.
Pierre-Paul "amicably resolved the pending litigation," his attorney, Mitchell Schuster, said.
A Miami federal judge had refused in August to dismiss the case, which stemmed from Pierre-Paul's 2015 fireworks accident.
Pierre-Paul was hospitalized after the accident, which caused serious injuries to multiple fingers on his right hand and cost him half of the 2015 season.
The lawsuit claimed that ESPN and reporter Adam Schefter had violated his privacy by posting his medical records shortly after the incident.
