With the 19th pick in the NFL Draft, the Giants continued their efforts of developing a stealth offensive line by drafting former Syracuse lineman Justin Pugh.
With prospects deliberating about where the first-rounder would fit in, it is apparent the G-Men consider Pugh the future at right tackle.
Despite lining up at left tackle during his time at Syracuse, Pugh took reps at right tackle during the team's rookie camp. However, the team is confident Pugh can line up at any of the five positions, should an injury or other issue arise.
Right tackle appears to be the most likely position for Pugh to fit in, though, as Beatty mans the left tackle slot, Kevin Boothe at left guard, David Bass at center and Chris Snee at right guard.
Veteran tackle David Diehl, who in March agreed to a 77.7-percent pay reduction, will likely serve as the primary backup to both Pugh and Beatty.
