With free agency officially arriving Wednesday, the Giants are expected to be active on the market with several holes to fill on the roster. But on Tuesday, they shored up an important spot with a familiar face.
Veteran long-snapper Zak DeOssie is set to re-sign with the Giants, according to the Daily News' Pat Leonard, keeping him with the only franchise he's known as a professional.
The two-time Super Bowl winner has been with New York since the team drafted him in the fourth round of the 2007 NFL Draft. Since the 2011 season, DeOssie has been a captain.
DeOssie and quarterback Eli Manning are the only remnants from the two 2008 and 2012 Super Bowl wins. He's only missed four games during his career, all of which came in 2015.
