Giants quarterback Eli Manning turned the ball over three times, including a lost fumble that was returned for a touchdown, as New York lost to the Arizona Cardinals 23-0 on Sunday at University of Phoenix Stadium.
Manning was 27-for-45 for 263 yards and two interceptions, as the Giants fell to 2-13 heading into the final week of the season. A fourth-quarter sack by Deone Bucannon was returned 21 yards by Robert Nkemdiche for a touchdown that gave the Cardinals a 23-0 lead.
The Giants struggled to stop Larry Fitzgerald, who had nine catches for 119 yards and a touchdown. Drew Stanton completed 20 of 34 passes for 209 yards, two touchdowns and two interceptions.

Tight end Rhett Ellison, who saw more action on the field after Evan Engram left the game with a ribs injury, led the Giants with four catches for 60 yards. Running backs Wayne Gallman and Orleans Darkwa combined for 28 rushing yards on 16 carries.
The Giants trailed 3-0 on a Phil Dawson field goal after the first quarter, and one play after Giants safety Landon Collins left the game with a forearm injury, Stanton threw a 13-yard touchdown pass to Fitzgerald that gave the Cardinals a 10-0 halftime lead. In the third quarter, Stanton threw a 15-yard touchdown to John Brown that made it 16-0.
New York converted on just one if its 13 third-down attempts and committed 10 penalties for 101 yards.
