It will give him two Super Bowl championships to go along with all of the great regular-season accomplishments on his resume. With a victory, Peyton will, in many's eyes, become the greatest QB in the history of the NFL.
He will also become the first QB to win the Super Bowl with two different teams. But on a personal level, a win next Sunday will move him into a tie with brother Eli for Super Bowl rings with two, and...if Peyton wins the MVP, he will tie Eli in that category as well (with two).
Should all of that happen, there's still plenty of football to be played by both brothers. Plenty of time for both to return to the big game.
