The New Jersey State Police are investigating a break-in at a private parking lot in East Rutherford, N.J., where the Giants' players park their cars, that occurred while the team was on the West Coast to face the 49ers.
According to reports, the thieves broke into and burglarized the Giants' players cars, and a 1996 Chevy Caprice was stolen from the premises.
Giants offensive tackle James Brewer, whose car was one of the victims, tweeted this in response to the crimes:
"Only in Jersey can someone be heartless enough to break into my car while we are in Cali making fans proud ... geez get your life right in 2012."
