The Victor Cruz contract negotiations are moving slowly according to Mike Florio of PFT:
Per a source with knowledge of the situation, talks between the team and the holdout receiver are occurring, but moving slowly. There’s a chance that the negotiations will intensify as June 15 approaches. That is the date the Giants can withdraw their first-round tender to Cruz and replace it with an offer of $600k, which only slightly more than his 2012 salary.
Cruz has publicly refuted the rumors that he is seeking to star in his own reality TV show
Giants' beat writer Pat Traina wrote a feature on Adrien Robinson, know to most as the "JPP of TEs". From Yahoo Sports:
This year, Robinson has been working to earn a larger role on offense and to justify the team's investment of a draft pick in his talents. To make sure that happens, Robinson has an understanding of what held him back last year-and how to make sure it doesn't again this season.
"I think it was a number of things, but I think that was probably the biggest fact was just earning the trust of the coaches and quarterback that I'd be where I was supposed to be on the field, "Robinson said when asked about his grasp of the team's playbook as a rookie.
