The best-case scenario for the Giants in Week Six was to exit Philadephia with a victory and have the Cowboys fall flat in Seattle. That would have created a three-way tie between the teams for the division lead at 4-2. But, as fate would have it, the Giants were the ones who fell flat, while the Eagles and Cowboys both advanced to 5-1.

Week Seven Schedule:
Tennessee at Washington, 1:00pm EDT
Giants at Dallas, 4:25pm EDT
Philadelphia (League Ranks: Off 11th, Def 24th): The Eagles had a lot of question marks going into Sunday night's game vs the Giants. They answered most of them emphatically and are very much worth of that 5-1 record and a share of first place. They still have to play Dallas twice, Green Bay and Seattle but essentially, they're looking at a double-digit win season again.
Dallas (League Ranks: Off 4th, Def 15th): The win up in Seattle has the Cowboy bandwagon overflowing right now. Eventually, it will slow down, but their schedule is favorable. They host the Giants this week followed by Washington, Arizona and Jacksonville. They could win all of those games and be 9-1 at the bye.
Giants (League Ranks: Off 24th, Def 22nd): The embarrassing shutout down in Philly combined with the loss of WR Victor Cruz could send this team into a freefall. Their next assignment before their Week 8 bye is in Dallas this Sunday against the smokin' hot Cowboys. When they return they face the Colts, Seahawks, 49ers and Cowboys again, in succession. Oy, vey.
Washington (League Ranks: Off 7th, Def 10th): With those rankings, you'd think the Skins were 5-1 instead of 1-5. Washington is just not a crisp team on offense. They have the worst give/take in the league at -9 and are among the most-penalized teams thus far in 2014. They are getting some players back from injury, but right now it looks like they'll be playing the role of spoiler this season.
