Three Giants were selected to the 2018 Pro Bowl on Tuesday, but Odell Beckham Jr. was not one of them.

RB Saquon Barkley, S Landon Collins and K Aldrick Rosas were voted in by the fans, players and coaches but the Giants star wide receiver was relegated as a second alternate for the Pro Bowl, which will occur Sunday, Jan. 27 in Orlando, Fla.

Special teamer Michael Thomas and linebacker Olivier Vernon were named first alternates.

It is the second consecutive season Beckham will not attend the Pro Bowl festivities, but he sustained a season-ending injury in Week 5 last year, so this is the first time in his career in which he played in at least 11 games but did not earn a Pro Bowl selection.

Beckham, 26, has 77 catches for 1,052 yards and six touchdowns (plus two passing touchdowns) in 12 games this season and does not place in the top 10 in any of those categories, but he has missed the last two games due to a bruised quad.

Getting the nod at wide receiver ahead of Beckham from the NFC was Falcons' Julio Jones, Saints' Michael Thomas, Vikings' Adam Thielen and Packers' Davante Adams. Bucs receiver Mike Evans is the first alternate.

Meanwhile, Barkley becomes the first Giants running back to go to the Pro Bowl since Tiki Barber in 2006.

The Giants' 2018 first-round pick is the first Giants rookie to earn the honor since Beckham in 2014 and first Giants rookie running back since Tucker Frederickson in 1965.

The 21-year-old has set franchise rookie records in touchdowns (13), receptions (82) and receiving yards by a running back (654). His 1,155 rushing yards and nine rushing touchdowns rank third and fifth in the NFL, respectively.

Collins was named to his third consecutive Pro Bowl but for the second straight season will be unable to participate due to a season-ending injury.

The 24-year-old is still the Giants team leader in tackles (96) despite missing the last two games.

Rosas, 23, earned his first Pro Bowl honor and has been near automatic for the Giants this season, making 28 of 29 field goals, including four of five from 50-plus yards.
