The Giants just can't seem to catch a break this offseason.
Earlier today, the NFL announced a six-game suspension for Arizona Cardinals shutdown cornerback Patrick Peterson, who violated the league's policy on performance-enhancing drugs. According to ESPN's Adam Schefter, Peterson has dropped his appeal and will serve the full six-game suspension.
Peterson, who's been named to the Pro Bowl in each of his first eight seasons, is set to make his return to the Cardinals' lineup at MetLife Stadium in a Week 7 game against the Giants.
So whether it's Eli Manning or Daniel Jones under center in Week 7, the Giants will have to deal with Peterson on the prowl in the Cardinals' secondary.
