Jennings had 733 yards on 163 attempts with the Raiders last season. He scored six touchdowns. He rushed for 88 yards against the Giants on November 10, 2013.
Jennings is a versatile back, catching 36 passes last year for 292 yards (an average of 8.1 per) and Ben McAdoo apparently wants his backs to be able to handle the football in multiple ways.
Jennings will join Peyton Hillis, Michael Cox and John Conner in the Giants' backfield this season. The theme: they can all catch the football.
And at 6'1', 230, Jennings is big enough to placate one of Tom Coughlin's pet peeves: pass protection. He also had some experience as a kick returner during his days in Jacksonville.
What does this mean for Andre Brown? Well, depending on the health of David Wilson (neck), Brown could be back if he is not signed away by another club by then.
