from Mike Vorkunov of The Star-Ledger:
With his ability to catch the ball, he may eventually make for a good third down back. In the Buffalo Bills game, they wanted to see what he could do.
“Last week, we tried to use him in the pass game, see what his speed is like,” running backs coach Jerald Ingram said. “Can we use him in a one-on-one situation? Those kind of situations.”
“We’d like to think so one day (he would be) a third down back because he does catch the ball very well,” Ingram said. “Do we know if he can pick up blitzes and protect the quarterback and do all those kinds of things? We haven’t put him back there to see.”
