The Giants have finalized a trade for Broncos P Riley Dixon, per NFL Network's Ian Rapoport.
In return, the Giants sent a conditional seventh-round 2019 draft pick to Denver.
After the release of P Brad Wing, the Giants have been in search of a new punter. Well, with former Raiders P Marquette King joining the Broncos this offseason, Dixon was on the trading block and the Giants appear to want his services for next season.
The 6-foot-4, 221-pound Dixon ranked 17th in yards punted last season (3,331) with a 45.6-yard average, which was good for 14th in the NFL. Wing finished 24th in punting average with 44.1 yards per punt.
A former seventh-round pick by the Broncos in 2016, Dixon will enter his third year in the league out of Syracuse.
