Rex Ryan has a message for Odell Beckham Jr.:
"Jump on board for once in your life."
The former Jets head coach said this on Monday while appearing on ESPN's "Get Up" when discussing the Giants wide receiver's criticism of head coach Pat Shurmur's playcalling.
"Odell, here's the thing: You had 320 yards at halftime. You know what they should've done? Give the ball to the best player you got, which is Saquon Barkley, the new face of the franchise," Ryan said. "Jump on board for once in your life. Jump on board. I love Odell Beckham, he's so talented, but give me a break here. You're not an offensive coordinator. The best player is Saquon Barkley. Give him the ball 30 times a game. It's not hard."

Beckham felt the Giants did not do enough to attack the Eagles depleted secondary in a 25-22 loss to their NFC East rivals.
However, Barkley was also only touched the ball five times in the second.
"It's not about Odell, getting him the ball 20 times," Ryan added. "You can get him 15 targets. You control all the pieces. That's easy to do. But the other kid oughta be getting it 30 times."
