DE Jason Pierre-Paul (shoulder), CB Corey Webster (ankle) and rookie S Cooper Taylor (hamstring) have been declared out of the game vs. Seattle. We've probably seen the last of JPP and CWeb for 2013. This is Taylor's second battle with a hammy this season.
CB Terrell Thomas (knee) and DT Cullen Jenkins (shin/quad) are probable. Thomas will not miss this game vs his old college coach, Pete Carroll.
The Giants can step up and make a statement against the Seahawks tomorrow by playing a tight game, or even winning. Seattle is very close to wrapping up home filed advantage in the NFC, but they are not nearly the same team away from home. To win tomorrow, the Giants will have to play better - much better - than they did in San Diego last week.
Tom Coughlin was asked how his team has dealt with disappointment during this trying and frustrating season:
"I think they do a good job of that. They’ve done a real good job of that all year long. They’ve overcome disappointment in terms of going back to work and having enthusiasm. Our morning meetings are very good. Our practices have been good, with good enthusiasm, people really focusing on their job, we’ve had our one or two incidents, but overall the practices have been good. I do think that the guys come back from disappointment and they recognize the importance of the next game and they go and prepare themselves for it. That’s a tribute to them."
