The Giants came away with an upset, overtime win over the Chiefs, 12-9, at MetLife Stadium on Sunday. Here are the top plays from the game:
3. Damon "Snacks" Harrison's first career interception
Harrison just happened to be in the right place at the right time as fellow lineman Jason Pierre-Paul rocked a Chiefs receiving a pitch from QB Alex Smith. The ball flew in the air toward Snacks who snatched it with his left hand. Harrison also totaled three tackles in the game.
2. Janoris Jenkins' timely pick in the fourth quarter
Jenkins, who was called out for his lack of effort against the 49ers last week, came up big for the Giants in the fourth quarter. The Chiefs had the ball with a little over two minutes down in their own territory, looking for a drive that would give them their first lead of the day.
Smith dropped back and overthrew his receiver as Jenkins picked it off. It set up a field goal for Aldrick Rosas to give the Giants a 9-6 lead. Jackrabbit would finish with four tackles on the afternoon as well.
1. Roger Lewis Jr. circus catch to set up Giants game-winner
This was the play that sealed the deal for the Giants in overtime. The giants decided to go for it on fourth-and-six instead of risking a 54-yard field goal. Eli Manning saw a one-on-one opportunity with Lewis on the outside, and lofted the ball up for him to haul in. However, he was getting pulled down by CB Phillip Gaines, which would have resulted in a pass interference call anyway.
But Lewis kept his eye on the ball, and secured it with just one hand to set up the Giants game-winning field goal. He finished the game with three catches on four targets for 55 yards.
