Giants WR Sterling Shepard, DE Olivier Vernon, and S Landon Collins were among many notable players on the team's injury report Wednesday.
Shepard, who sparined his ankle in the matchup against the Chargers last Sunday, said he has "no idea" if he will be ready for the Giants' primetime game against the Broncos on Sunday night. However, Shepard does feel the ankle healing.
"I'm doing a lot better," he said. "Feels a lot better than it did yesterday, so that's a good start."
The Giants were forced to place Odell Beckham Jr. (broken ankle), Dwayne Harris (broken foot), and Brandon Marshall (ankle) on the IR for the rest of the season.
Vernon continues to deal with his ankle injury after missing his first career game. Collins is nursing an ankle injury as well.
Jonathan Casillas (burner), Paul Perkins (ribs), and Weston Richburg (concussion) are also on the injury report.
