I got the Steelers but lost with the Giants, Lions and only by a half-point with the Panthers.
Here are this week’s picks. I’ll be using the point spreads from Yahoo! Sports. Feel free to include your picks for these or any other of the week’s games in the comments section. Good luck!
Week 12 Record: 1-3
Overall Record: 19-29
Tennessee Titans (-4) at Indianapolis Colts
The Colts have been on a bit of a cold streak, but I can see them getting back on track at home against the Titans. The Titans are no slouch, especially defensively. But the Colts need to show them who is the boss of the AFC South.
New England Patriots (-9) at Houston Texans
What a comeback last Sunday night by Tom Brady and the Patriots over the Denver Broncos. That’s a huge win against a tough opponent and one that instantly tabs the Patriots as legitimate Super Bowl contenders. The Texans have been a disaster this season, and though the spread is a bit high for me to go with the road team, I’m going with Brady.
Cincinnati Bengals (+1) at San Diego Chargers
The Bengals hit the road this week to travel to San Diego. If they want to be considered a Super Bowl threat, they have to show that they can travel and win. The path to the Super Bowl could very well be going through Denver, so what’s a few extra hours on a plane to San Diego for the Bengals? The spread makes this one a toss up, and I like Cincinnati here.
New York Giants (PK, 46 points) at Washington Redskins
For the first time this season, I’ll be betting on a total points spread. I’ll keep it simple: I think the Giants’ offense will put up at least 30 points and I think the Redskins can score at least 17. Well, that’s over 46, so I’m going with the over.
