Here are this week’s picks. I’ll be using the point spreads from Yahoo! Sports. Feel free to include your picks for these or any other of the week’s games in the comments section. Good luck!
Week 7 Record: 2-2
San Diego Chargers (-2.5) at Cleveland Browns
The Chargers are coming off a bye week, so they must be salivating to get back on the field after letting Peyton Manning and the Broncos stage a second half comeback in Week 6. San Diego will be traveling a long way for this game, but expect them to take their frustration from the Broncos’ loss out on the Browns.
Atlanta Falcons (+1) at Philadelphia Eagles
Even though they’re home, it’s strange that the Eagles are favored against the undefeated Falcons. Both teams are coming off a bye, but the Eagles will look for a fast start after a tumultuous two weeks. This should be a close game the whole way, but the Falcons’ streak should remain in tact.
Jacksonville Jaguars (+16) at Green Bay Packers
Normally, I shy away from these huge spreads, but without Maurice Jones-Drew, the Jaguars’ offense is anemic. The Packers should dominate this game from start to finish, but hopefully Jacksonville doesn’t add late points during garbage time.
New York Giants (-1) at Dallas Cowboys
Eli Manning will look to continue his unbeaten streak in the new Cowboys Stadium. With Sean Lee and DeMarco Murray out for the Cowboys, the Giants should earn this victory. Big Blue must be conscious though of stopping Dez Bryant, Miles Austin and Kevin Ogletree on the outside.
