“Right now, to be honest with you, I feel great,’’ he said on his website yesterday. “I am not 100 percent. I would say I am 85 percent to 90 percent. The only thing missing is real field work, going against my teammates, the grind of practice and seeing how my knee handles all that.’’
Thomas started all 16 games at cornerback for the Giants in his second and third years in the league, peaking in 2010 with five interceptions and four forced fumbles. Back to back injuries to the same knee forced him out of the last two seasons.
