Thomas is on a "slower" schedule, but feels he can be ready for the start of the regular season....
"My goal is week one, without a doubt. I know everything, I just have to get back out there and show that I can still play this game. I’ve done so all this spring and in the summer. I have to prove it out here on the field. I’m ready to take upon that challenge."
He was asked how much time he will need before he'll be able to go full throttle:
"Very little. I started a couple games here. It hasn’t changed too much. But I definitely think I need to get out there. The biggest thing I’ve been preaching is just getting back on that horse. I’ve attacked my rehab throughout this whole time for the past two years and I’m excited for the challenge, but until you get back out there, you won’t know what you’re really facing."
The veteran corner was pleased to be back on the field this afternoon, even though his participation was limited
