Running back Tiki Barber and quarterback Phil Simms are among 108 player nominees for the Pro Football Hall of Fame's 2018 class.
Barber, who spent all of his 10 NFL seasons with the Giants, rushed for 10,449 yards and 55 touchdowns during his pro career before retiring at the end of the 2006 season.
Simms suited up in 164 games -- all with the Giants -- and threw for 33,462 yards and 199 touchdowns, completing 55.4 percent of his passes. He was the MVP of Super Bowl XXI and was twice named a Pro Bowler.
Also on the list were LB Carl Banks, TE Mark Bavaro, OT Lomas Brown, P Sean Landeta and C Bart Oates and WR Steve Smith, who seems to have been nominated in a possible oversight. Smith played in just 64 NFL games and recorded only 2,641 yards and 12 touchdowns.
