They are 2-0 vs the NFC West thus far and favored by 10 points in this one.
One of the reasons the spread is in double-digits is the paltry rushing performance Seattle has logged in thus far this season. They are ranked 31st in the NFL in the rushing department, a facet of the game a team needs to proficient in if they plan on exploiting the Giants' run-challenged defense.
The Hawks are also only 28th in passing, so by nature, they don't light up the scoreboard. In team defense, Seattle is average, ranked 19th overall.
It is also well-known that the Seahawks do not thrive outside of their legendary nest - Quest Field.
The Giants, conversely, are not you're ideal home team, either, having played better football on the road then they have at home as of late.
Radio analyst Carl Banks, appearing on MSG's Giants Rewind says the Giants need to stay vigilant:
“The Giants can’t take Seattle for granted this week. Marshawn Lynch is a good running back and the Giants have to do a better job of stopping the run.”
