Tyree's arthroscopic surgery on his knee two months ago could land him on the physically unable to perform list, which could keep him out until Week 6. Oddly enough, winding up on the PUP list could be the best thing that could happen to him, considering the number of able bodies competing for the receiving core.
Tyree will be appearing at Public House (140 E. 41st Street in New York City) next Monday, July 9th celebrating his 3rd Annual All-Pro Bowling Classic. There will be an open bar from 10PM to 1AM with a $50 donation to the International Children's Support Foundation.
The Giants are in a tough spot here. They could cut him, but that would be a terrible PR move considering his place in Giants history after his monumental catch in the decisive final moments of the Super Bowl. He still has good value on special teams, which gives him a slight edge over some of the receivers ahead of him.
