Training camp has just kicked off, but Vegas has been all over preparing their books for the upcoming NFL season. And their over/under totals are already out for fans to bet on.
For the Giants, Vegas is predicting they make an improvement on the season with their over/under set at 7.5 wins this season, according to Westgate SuperBook.
Big Blue obviously had tons of issues on and off the field last season, and it resulted in an awful 3-13 record in the end. Before the season began, many had the Giants ticketed for another postseason berth with the potential to reach the Super Bowl as plausible.
But change has already came to the Giants this season, with new brass and new pieces to strengthen the team. GM Dave Gettleman has been in win-now mode, and his free-agent and draft moves prove it. For one, his No. 2 overall pick went to RB Saquon Barkley, who is expected to have high expectations himself this season.
The O-line was also bolstered with free agents LT Nate Solder and G Patrick Omameh brought in. Second-rounder Will Hernandez was also brought in through the draft.
There are a lot of good things brewing for the Giants this season, which is why their win total has increased despite their performance last season.
Looking at the rest of the NFC East, the Super Bowl champion Eagles are in a five-way tie for the highest win total this season at 10.5. The Cowboys are next at 8.5 wins, while the Redskins are last with 5.5.
