Now Commenting On:

TE Bear Pascoe (right) says he ready for whatever the Giants throw at him. He has been the lone player at his position the past two practices. Teammate Kevin Boss, who is becoming frustrated with hamstring soreness on top of a surgically repaired ankle has been encouraging Pascoe from the sidelines.

Pascoe is happy to have Boss in his corner helping him improve as a player.  The one area Pascoe says he needs to improve in is his blocking.  He knows the Giants are a running team, and if Boss is healthy, his job will primarily be as the blocking TE.

DE Justin Tuck is pleased with the way the team is focusing and their dedication was illustrated by the fact that every player came to camp in shape and passed the conditioning test. He has read all of the high expectations for his unit - the defensive line - but knows talk is cheap.

"I think we're the best defensive line in the country," said Tuck, "but that doesn't mean anything. I want to be defensive line that gets the most production."

OL Rich Seubert is still fielding questions about his broken hand.  He was asked how it is affecting his performance now that he is back practicing.

"We don't hold, but we like to grab." said Seubert, "With your whole hand in a cast, it kind of takes away from that." He was then asked if it hurt.

"It's football. Who doesn't hurt this time of year?"

WR Victor Cruz is a long shot to make the roster, but today everyone from Tom Coughlin to the grounds crew was talking about him.  The Paterson NJ native made several nice plays this morning and his stock is suddenly rising.

Where he would fit on this roster? Special teams, maybe, but still he's a long shot. He said he grew up a Cowboys fan, but now that he's associated with the Giants, that's all changed.

DE Jason Pierre-Paul was asked if he felt stronger now than he did when he got to camp...

"Way stronger. Waaay stronger," said the Giants' top draft choice.
