The new league year begins on March 9, and the Giants have over 20 free agents they'll have to make decisions on.
Among those set to become free agents are CB Prince Amukamara, K Josh Brown, and DE's Jason Pierre-Paul and Robert Ayers.
At NJ.com, James Kratch lists them in order of importance >> Read more
The Giants aren't in love with many of their own free agents and I don't see them getting into a bidding war for any of them.
Jason Pierre-Paul will garner some interest, but if you're an NFL GM, you're not going to be willing to pay him like vintage JPP. The Giants won't break the bank for him, either.
Prince Amukamara is an average player who teams might offer too much for. The Giants won't. Remember, their defense was last in the NFL in 2015, so they have lost some of their luster. They are certainly replaceable as are the rest.
I don't see Zak DeOssie or Josh Brown going anywhere. Cullen Jenkins will be 35. Ayers has played well, but again, the Giants won't overpay for him.
