Freeman hit the game-winner from the wing, before flinging Tracy Abram's missed 3-point attempt into the student section.

Tilmon told SNY.tv in a previous interview that Illinois was a school that had been recruiting him the longest.

Carlton Bragg is now down to four schools after Arizona opted to stop recruiting him.

The 6-foot-8 Bragg from Cleveland Villa Angela-St. Joseph will now choose from among Kentucky, Kansas, UCLA and Illinois, with whom he had his final in-home visit on Tuesday night.

"Arizona dropped out,"?Michael Graves, Bragg's mentor, told SNY.tv. "They informed us that they love Carlton but they're going to pursue other people."

"I enjoyed it," he told SNY.tv. "Their fans are awesome. The coaches and people around campus treated me like I was one of the players on the team."

Quentin Snider?announced Thursday night that he will attend Illinois, choosing the Illini over UCLA.

"I chose Illinois because it was the perfect fit for me," Snider told SNY.tv. "I love the style of play, get up and down the court and run pick-and-rolls. And the thing about Coach [John] Groce, he's a good guy to be around. Great family guy and they will use me as a point guard."

Huntington Prep shooting guard Xavier Rathan-Mayes will visit Illinois this coming weekend and UConn the following weekend, according to the New Haven Register.

Illinois head coach John Groce and assistant Dustin Ford visited the 6-foot-4 shooting guard Tuesday at the West Virginia school, and UConn head coach Kevin Ollie?and assistant Karl Hobbs were in on Monday.

Arkansas on Saturday landed 6-foot-9 Huntington (W.V.) Prep big man Moses Kingsley, according to reports.

Huntington coach Rob Fulford has compared Kingsley, who committed on his visit to Arkansas and was also being courted by Louisville, to Louisville big man Gorgui Dieng.
